MEET AND GREET
Meet and Greet is a requirement for all dogs. In order to assure a safe and pleasant environment, we require our staff to meet your pet to demonstrate your pet is people and pet friendly.
Meet and greets are held daily between 12-2 pm and at 5:00 pm. We do not accept walk-ins, please call 812-887-3609 to schedule your appointment.
*Unleashed Pawz reserves the right to refuse service to any dog that has shown or is showing aggression towards staff and other dogs.
General Information:
Our facility is state-of-the-art. All pens are cleaned and sanitized daily. Each pen is equipped with a floor drain (both inside and out). Our facility has a central wet and dry vac system for cleaning pens. All pens are sealed to the floor so there is no possibility cross-contamination between pens.
All dogs must be spayed or neutered and UTD on all vaccinations including Bordetella.
*We do not accept dogs with aggression issues.

Please allow yourself plenty of time to drop off your dog. We like to make sure we have all of the correct information if anything arises.
WHAT TO BRING
Food: Substantial quantity to provide nutrition for your pet during this/her stay at the kennel. Clearly label food container with pet name and feeding amounts. We ask that you to bring their normal food with you because we feel it will help keep your pet on their regular routine and help their digestive system run normally. There is a $5 daily charge for any food provided by Unleashed Pawz
Treats: optional
Accessories: Your dog must arrive with a collar, lead or leash, and his/her tags. This does not mean your dog must wear the collar the entire length of his/her stay but is necessary for handling during daily operations.
Toys/Bones: Bones made of rawhide, pig ears, cow ears, and other tough to chew edibles are welcome and may help relieve some of your pet’s stress. These items will be kept in the pet’s individual pen.
Bedding: Dogs in a new environment like familiar things. Their beds or favorite blankets are the best way to help a pet adjust to new surroundings. You are welcome to bring your pet’s bed, rug, blanket, whatever they wish to have with them to make their stay with us a happy and comfortable visit. We require bedding to be clean before we will take it into the kennel, and it must be something that is machine washable. Unleashed Pawz supplies a blanket or towel to each dog if they do not bring a bed.
Medications: If your pet is on medication, we will be happy to give it as prescribed at no additional charge. Along with the medicine, please send cheese, hot dogs, marshmallows, whatever treat we can hide the pill in because we will not put our hands in your dog’s mouth to force a pill. It is extremely important that any medication be properly labeled with the pet’s name, the correct dosage, and what the medication is.
Current Paperwork: Pet and Client Information, Current Vaccination Records
Vaccination Records: We will need a copy of your pets Shot Records within the last 12 months showing proof of Vaccination by a licensed Veterinarian for the Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella Vaccines. This is mandatory for yours and all other pets’ safety and no exceptions will be made so please be sure to double check your pet’s records.
All vaccinations must be administered by a veterinary office or vaccinations clinic and proof of vaccinations must be presented prior to your reservation. Owner-administered vaccinations, including DHLPP and Bordetella, will not be accepted. During flea season we highly recommend that you use Frontline or Advantage flea drops to protect your pet and other guests from bringing in or taking home a flea. We will be glad to contact your vet’s office to obtain proof of vaccinations. We highly recommend:
- Vaccinations must be given 2-3 weeks prior to boarding
- Bordetella given every year or per your veterinarian’s recommendation
- Flea and tick preventative be applied monthly
- Yearly heartworm tests and monthly preventive given
Dog Boarding:
We have 20 runs and each allows your pet to feel safe and secure while staying with us. Our runs are climate controlled for the comfort of your pet and 4 of our runs provide optional outside run access.
Standard Run — $30 per night — 4' x 6' inside,
Deluxe Runs — $40 per night — 5' x 6' inside, 5'x 8' outside - Weather permitting, the doors are left open all day for access to your pet’s private patio
